We of course are all familiar with the standard pillow. Rectangular, a little fluffed but stable enough to support your head. Right off the bat, you’ll notice that the Zoey Sleep Curve Pillow is true to its name: it’s curved. Shaped in a unique butterfly style, it’s designed to fill space between your neck, head, and shoulder so you can comfortably sleep on your side. This design gives a nice support base for both your neck and head, which is often a big complaint of standard pillows.
What Is the Pillow Filled With?
The Zoey Sleep Curve Pillow is made of lyocell, polyester, and spandex, and is hypoallergenic. The insides of the pillow contain shredded memory foam and you have the option of adjustable filling, so you can create the perfect height for your head and neck. The cover of the pillow is also machine washable, so you can always keep it clean.
What Makes It Different from Other Pillows?

We really wanted to see how good of a sleep we could get with the Zoey Sleep Curve Pillow. And there’s no better way to find out than testing it for yourself! Some of the things I really loved when using it the first night:
- The memory foam innards of the pillow are extremely comfortable and are easy to shape to your head. When you lay down on the pillow, the memory foam creates nice support for your neck. It’s very easy to fill your neck and shoulders into.
- I’m a side and back sleeper, and both positions were incredibly comfortable. Sleeping on my back, the curve really supports your head and wraps nicely around your neck and shoulders. When switching to the side, you can comfortably wrap your arm underneath the pillow and support your neck.
The only cons I have to offer are:
- For a pillow, the price is a bit steep at $110. But for the few nights I’ve used it so far, I’ve been incredibly well-rested. I’ve also had no kind of neck pain at all using this pillow. I imagine the pillow will last quite a long time, so investing in quality for the long term makes more sense with the price tag.
- With the packaging, it did come with a faint plasticky smell the first few hours. I would suggest opening it up and leaving out to get the smell out, or washing the pillow cover before first use. Otherwise, the smell did go away in about 24 hours.
