What You’ll Need:
- 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
First, let’s get into the benefits of the other ingredients in this recipe. The calcium, vitamins B and D and protein that are found in plain yogurt all play a role in keeping your skin moisturized and youthful-looking. As a bonus, yogurt softens the appearance of fine lines, fades blemishes and, during the summer season, soothes sunburns too. And fresh lemon juice? It also is full of antioxidants, plus it’s a great skin brightener and exfoliant as well.
Now that you know why you need all three of these ingredients, let’s get started with making the mask.
Step 1: Mix all of the ingredients together until they’re smooth and creamy.
Step 2: Wash and rinse your face thoroughly (leave it damp though).
Step 3: With an application brush, apply the mask to your face (all over your face).
